Biosensor Research Center

Nano Biosensor Laboratory

The Nano Biosensor Laboratory has been active since 2009 in developing knowledge, localizing, and applying methods for identifying and measuring analytes using biological elements, materials, and nanomaterials. The research programs in this laboratory mainly pursue the following objectives:

  • Designing, producing, and developing diagnostic structures for the early detection of diseases, including biosensors capable of detecting analytes at the nanoscale and biosensors based on nanomaterials.

  • Designing, developing, and evaluating new nanomaterials and nanostructures for applications in areas such as molecular imaging and targeted drug delivery.

Notable ongoing research activities in this laboratory include:

  • Designing various biosensors and nanobiosensors

  • Nanomaterial-based immunosensors

  • Nanomaterial-based enzymatic biosensors

  • DNA biosensors and various nanomaterial-based genosensors

  • Cellular biosensors

  • Nanomaterial-based biochips

  • Designing smart theranostic biosensors and nanobiosensors for simultaneous diagnosis and treatment

Biosensors and nanosensors with applications in medical imaging and drug delivery.
